These terms are an agreement between you and Aiton Cumbi (“Roasted”, “we”) for using the Roasted app. By using it, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1Who can use it
You must be 18 or older and able to agree to these terms.
2What Roasted is
Roasted uses AI to generate a comedic critique of a dating profile: a score, a grade, a roast, suggested fixes and a rewritten bio. It is entertainment and opinion, not professional, psychological or dating advice.
AI output can be wrong, unfair or unexpected, and a score is not a measure of anyone's worth. We don't guarantee results, matches or dates.
The AI only sees photos and text, so it can get things about a person wrong, including their gender or pronouns. We instruct it to refer to other people as “they” and to never make gender, or anything else about who someone is, the target of a joke, but it can still slip. If it misgenders anyone, that's a machine error, not our view of who they are.
3Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to process it, and to pass it to third-party AI providers, only to generate your roast. Those providers may store it under their own terms (see the Privacy policy), outside our control.
You confirm you have the right to upload it. If it's someone else's profile, that means using it for private fun, not harassment, publishing without consent or anything illegal.
Don't upload content involving minors, nudity or sexual content, or content that is hateful or that you don't have the rights to. We may refuse to process content like this.
4Uncensored mode
Uncensored mode allows profanity. Turning it on confirms you're 18 or older and choose to see it.
5Roasted Pro
Your first 3 roasts are free. Roasted Pro is an auto-renewing weekly subscription at the price shown on the paywall before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
It renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We can't issue refunds for store purchases ourselves.
Pro includes unlimited roasts for normal personal use. We may apply reasonable limits to prevent abuse or automated use.
6Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer the app, overload or scrape our services, get around the free-roast limit or paywall, or use Roasted to bully, stalk or harass anyone.
7Our stuff
The app, its design and its name belong to us. You may share your share cards and results for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for anything arising from AI-generated content or from how you use it. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9Ending things
You can stop using Roasted at any time. We may suspend access if you break these terms. Sections that should survive, like disclaimers and liability, do.
10Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app, and continuing to use Roasted means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mozambique. Nothing here takes away rights your local consumer law gives you and that can't be waived by contract.
